Train the Trainer gives learners the opportunity to hone their skills in a positive and friendly environment.  This course will equip participants with the skills to deliver professional, authentic training, making this a valuable addition to their toolbox.

Our one-day program is aimed at professionals and subject matter experts, seeking to develop their skills as a trainer to better enable them to share their knowledge with workplace colleagues. The course is prepared and delivered by our training team, which includes qualified and experienced teachers.

Note that this is not an accredited course and is not equivalent to a Certificate or Diploma, and is recommended for use only within your organisation.

  • Confidently design training
  • Understand the need and ability to adapt training
  • Identify the role of a trainer
  • Understand and display good presentation skills
  • Understand and display good facilitation skills
  • Identify barriers to learning and how to overcome them
  • Understand the difference between online vs in person training
  • Develop training suitable for both online and in person delivery
  • Adequately manage the behaviour of learners and oneself during training
  • Reflect on various teaching styles and identify their own
  • Confidently conduct activities and discussions
  • Deliver a unit of training with the opportunity to give and receive feedback
  • Identify the various forms of feedback and how this can improve training

Course fees

$650 plus GST per student

Groups of 3 students or more enrolling together each get a 10% discount.

Course Entry Requirements

  • Must be 18 or more years old
  • Must have obtained an academic level of Year 12 or above or equivalent
  • Must meet course prerequisites and the requirements of our enrolment process
